Research & Sustainability Events...

With over 60 years combined experience in the fishing and events industry, SCF, Suntag and InfoFish Australia are proud to announce the next generation of Fishing Competitions! The main focus of these events revolve around the health and wellbeing of our waterways, local fish stocks and the condition of surrounding catchment areas. Using the SCF Research & Events Smartphone App, we collect valuable data from all types of recreational fisherman/women to get an accurate understanding of the current condition of each location an event is hosted. This information will help determine what impact recreational and commercial fishing currently have on our waterways and the steps we need to take to improve or sustain them.

National growth…

Displaying how powerful our data collection methods are along with stepping up the atmosphere and celebrations with competitors has dramatically increased our national growth! Our online platforms have been growing by roughly 200 people each week from all states and is expected to continually increase as we continue to improve our events. Considering our marketing plan is still months away from officially starting we have already received a lot of interest for the King of Kings CQ, and have confirmed entrants from Exmouth (WA), Melbourne and Sydney.

Sponsorship agreement...

For a total investment of $8000 you will receive exclusive branding rights to the 2019 Brag Mat’s. Every person who competes in the event will receive a free measuring mat that is customised with your business's logos/branding. There will be roughly 200-350+ mats handed out to fisherman from all over Queensland who range from professionals to young kids competing in their first ever event. Every single fish caught during the event will have it’s photo taken on this mat and should reach numbers of over 1000! This measuring mat will be used by competitors for years to come after the event and provide ongoing advertising.

You will also receive 5x free entry's in the tournament, your logo on the LIVE scoreboards, click through links to your website and annual recognition/support from our online platforms.

Your investment will cover the cost of the brag mats, as well as contribute to everything that is required to host an event of this size. Other things include - Insurance, marketing, advertising, equipment hire, design, signage, administration, data collection, smartphone app, website management, permits, liquor, entertainment, security, venue costs, staff, consultants, fees, photography, videography, special guests, trophy’s, junior prizes, novelty size cheques, ect!

The competition will focus heavily on the research and sustainability aspect and will be a great benifit to the community in the sense that it will provide valuable data on the local waterways and the marine life that inhabits them. The data will be used by the Department of Science and other environmental organisations in the planning of future conservation projects and effective management systems. A sponsor partnership with the competition will give your business positive public exposure and goodwill within the community.
