Community Data Update

As we are now really starting to find our feet and put quite a few things together we can start presenting some compiled data back to our members and the community on a regular basis. All SCF members will have access to regular updates and to the majority of data sets we have available. Below are a few shnipets of the data we have recored over the past four months.

Our goal is to collect as much data about our local fisheries as we possibly can, however for this to be possible we need your help!!

Becoming involved is easy, all you have to do is download the ‘SCF Australia’ Smartphone App, and upload all your catches into the app. We encourage you to submit all captures, whether it be big or small, as any data is valuable data!! Your submission will then be sent away and our team will record and upload your catch to our data base!

The next step up from this is to become an SCF tagger. Tagging your captures is by far the most successful way of collecting this data. To find out more about tagging head over to our ‘Tagging’ section of the website!
