From our team photographer/videographer, Eli Robinson himself: “Cody, Dustin and I decided to make the most of the good weather and head out for a late afternoon spearfish. Once we got to out marks and took a few drops and soon realised that the fish along with the visibility weren’t playing the game. Cody had already made his way to his boat and started stick baiting so Dustin and I decided to have one final drop, as we re surfaced Cody was mid setting the hooks and yelling at us to come help. We quickly rushed to his boat and started to chase the fish. After a solid 15 minutes of fighting the fish we got our first look at it, we then new that this was a serious fish. Everything after that first look was a mad rush, but somehow we managed to land this thing. With 60lb and three kook fisherman aboard it still shocks me that we actually managed to boat this thing. Overall was a bloody awesome afternoon!!”

The boys estimated this fish to be about 30KG and it measured a whopping 147cm long. Truely a fish of a lifetime!
