Yellow Fin Tuna Madness - Jordan Flood

Where do I begin! Started trolling east of cape Moreton in about 200m in search of a stripe marlin.. had no luck for a couple hours then stumbled across a nice dolphin fish at around 9am.

After getting that we were pumped for another. Got to around 10:30 no luck around the same ground... the night before we were packing the boat, I said to the boys it’d be good to go out deep in search of a big blue marlin or YFT, the magic worked, hit around 1000-1300m of water, looked promising, then all of a sudden shot gun and left rigger started going! We were waiting for a jump but didn’t happen.. I said to Nathan this could be your tuna you’ve always wanted to catch.. 30 mins in, finally see some nice big sickle fins and there they were two nice big yellow fin! Both around 47-50kg! We cleaned the boat up and headed back in due to shortage of fuel, home by 2 o’clock! - Jordan Flood
