Well it’s one of them days when its poring down rain and blowing a gale. You can’t really decide if u want to go fishing but the addict in u comes out!

I headed down to one of my land based jack spots, which happened to have a lot of run-off and flowing water.. So 1st cast - I got absolutely smoked by something big .

Freaking out from that, I rehooked as quick as I could, then the unthinkable happened, my 4.5 inch paddle tail got absolutely dusted, it was taking drag and jumping out of the water! Once, then another as I ran across the rocks knee deep in water fighting the Barra and shaking at the knees!

The fight was real and I managed to get it in by myself. It felt like I caught the fish of a life time!
